How To Get More FPS in Apex Legends

Tip #1: Turn off Windows Updates

  1. Search "Windows Update Settings" and open it.
  2. Click on "Advanced options" and set everything to Off.

Tip #2: Change Windows Performance
  1. Go to Control Panel search System, and click on System.
  2. On the left-hand side of the window, click on Advanced system settings.
  3. Under Performance, click Settings.
  4. Click Adjust for best performance.
  5. Click on Apply and OK.

Tip #3: Power Options
  1. Go to Control Panel search Power Options, and click on it.
  2. Under Preferred plans select Ultimate Performance Plan. (to activate it paste this in command prompt: powercfg -duplicatescheme e9a42b02-d5df-448d-aa00-03f14749eb61)
Note: To complete the steps further you will need to download the FPS Boost Pack by clicking here.

Tip #4: CPU Core Parking
  1. Open up the CPUCoreParking folder inside the Apex Legends FPS Boost Pack and install the application. 
  2. After the installation is complete, run the program.
  3. After the program is launched, you need to set every bar to 100%.

Tip #5: Install CCleaner
  1. Open CCleaner installation file given in FPS Boost Folder
  2. After the installation is complete, run CCleaner.
  3. Now you want to do a full scan and remove any unnecessary things that it detects.
  4. You also want to scan the registry and fix any problems that it finds.

Tip #6: Boosting Startup
  1. Go to Task Manager and click on the “Startup” tab.
  2. Next, you want to disable most of what's in here as it can slow your PC down a lot so make sure that there are not more than ~2-3 programs enabled.

Tip #8: In-Game tweaks and optimizations
  1. Launch Apex Legends and go inside the game.
  2. Next, once you’re inside of the game go into Settings.
  3. Make sure all your settings are exactly as shown here: Settings Link

Tip #9: Sound Optimization
  1. Search for Sound(Or look into Control Panel).
  2. Then launch it, go to Playback tab, right click on Speakers and click Properties.
  3. Go into the “Enchantments” tab and enable ‘disable all sound effects’ checkbox. 
  4. Next, go to the “Advanced” tab and set the quality (format) to the lowest possible (lowest HZ).
